2. Website hosting and technical information
Our website is hosted by Framer B.V., Rozengracht 207B, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
When you visit the website, technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and the pages requested is processed to deliver the website, maintain its security and investigate technical issues.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is providing a secure and reliable website.
Framer processes personal data on our behalf under its data processing agreement and uses infrastructure providers to deliver its services, including Amazon Web Services. Its hosting infrastructure includes locations outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. See “International data transfers” below.
Further information: Framer Privacy Statement and Framer Data Processing Addendum.
3. Contact forms and email enquiries
If you contact us through our enquiry form or by email, we process the information you provide, including your contact details, your message and any project information you choose to share. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss possible work together and manage any resulting project.
Our contact form uses Framer’s native forms and forwards submissions to our email inbox. Framer also provides spam protection to help protect the form from unwanted or harmful submissions.
Our email service uses Google Workspace. Google processes email addresses, sender and recipient information, message contents, attachments and related technical information as needed to deliver and operate the email service. Google processes this information on our behalf under its Cloud Data Processing Addendum.
Where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract with you, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other correspondence, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and communicating with people interested in the studio. Preventing spam and abuse is also based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Providing information is voluntary. We need sufficient contact information and details to respond to your enquiry; without these, we may be unable to help. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing communications.
4. Framer Analytics
We use Framer’s built-in analytics to understand overall website activity, including page views, visitor numbers and referral sources.
Framer states that this service uses no analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. It processes IP and browser information with a daily rotating secret to calculate daily visitor numbers. We receive aggregated statistics.
Where personal data is processed before anonymisation, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is understanding website performance and improving our website.
Further information: Framer’s explanation of analytics and cookies.
5. Recipients and international data transfers
Personal data is made available to service providers where needed for the purposes described above, including Framer, Google for our Google Workspace email service, and their authorised infrastructure providers. Providers acting on our behalf are subject to data processing arrangements. Data may also be disclosed where required by law.
Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
Framer states that its international transfers use an applicable adequacy decision, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified US recipients, or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses where no adequacy decision applies.
Google Workspace may involve processing by Google LLC and authorised subprocessors outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Google’s Cloud Data Processing Addendum sets out the applicable transfer arrangements, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Further details are available in Framer’s Data Processing Addendum, Google’s Cloud Data Processing Addendum and Google’s Data Privacy Framework information. You can also contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data and how to obtain a copy.
6. How long we keep data
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
Enquiry data is retained while we handle your request and any resulting project. It is deleted when no longer needed, unless applicable legal recordkeeping requirements or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require longer retention. Such retention is based on Article 6(1)(c) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, as applicable.
Technical information is retained according to the operational and security purposes described above and the applicable provider retention arrangements.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, request correction or deletion, restrict processing and receive your data in a portable format.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it was withdrawn.
To exercise your rights, email hello@conscioushouse.io.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the country where you live or work, or where an alleged infringement occurred. Our local authority is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
